The one with Born Pretty Store water decals review+tutorial (pic heavy)

Good morning all! :) Today I bring you my review of some water decals from Born Pretty Store. I also have a pic-by-pic tutorial of how I used them! Trust me, with these Born Pretty Store water decals, you'll need a tutorial! The instructions on the package are absolutely NO help. The packages I receive from Born Pretty Store come from Hong Kong and Singapore...and there is a definite language barrier issue. The translation lost me from the beginning, talking about Influenza-A and winter being warm.

See what I mean? So anyway...I came up with this handy picture tutorial showing you guys how I used these super easy and cute water decals! Here's what the decals look like in the package.

Set up is super simple. All I used was a small plastic container and a pair of tweezers. I cut the decals I wanted out from the sheet and laid them out on the table in front of me. As you can see on the decals, the clear top slips off.

Once you've got the clear top off the decal, drop it in the water. I left mine in the water for about 30-45 seconds. Use the tweezers to extract the decals. Don't be alarmed if it sinks! Just fish it out. It still works just fine :)

Now, keep in mind, this is the way I put these decals on my nails. This is NOTHING official. This is the way it worked for me. Take the decal, decal side down, and place it on your nail. Gently slide the paper back, and it will leave the decal.

Now, softly use the pad of your finger (from your other hand hah) to smooth the decal out across your nail. Don't press too hard or you run the risk of tearing the decal. And voila!

My verdict? SO EASY! And so cute :) My next project shall be learning to put them on evenly ..and straight hahaha :) I definitely recommend water decals to "spice" up your mani. So easy to use, even I can do it! I do plan on getting more in the future and using them a lot.

Have you guys ever used water decals? How did you find application? Do you have special ones you really enjoy?
