Zoya Lovely collection swatches + review

Hi all! I was lucky enough to get my hands on the entire Zoya Lovely collection - and I had just enough light to get them posted for you tonight! It's so cold here, but the sun came out this afternoon enough for me to take pictures. So let's get right to it!

First up is Blu, a light airy blue creme. I really like this color because it's a little on the dusty side compared to most pastel blues. Easy peasy in two coats, the formula was a tad on the thick side, but not so much that it was hard to work with. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only polish in this collection not previously released.

Neely is next. This polish was part of the LE Peter Som box Zoya put out a while back. This minty creme is the perfect color of mint chocolate chip ice cream! The formula on this one, again, was a tad thick, but it ended up being okay in two coats.

And now for Jacqueline, a neutral tannish color with a touch of yellow. Or at least I see yellow. It actually reminds me of melted caramel. This was the troublemaker of the bunch for me. She was thick, really thick. I needed three coats for this one to even look decent...and I'm not sure it looks all that decent :/ I love the creaminess of the color, but it just didn't work for me. This one was in the Peter Som box, too.

Up next is the metallic half of the collection, starting with Julie, a gorgeous light purple. My eyes must not be trained to distinguish between metallic and shimmer, because to me, Julie just looks like a beautiful purple shimmer. The formula on this one was spot-on, and had I been careful, this one would have been a one-coater! This one, and the next three, made up the Zang Toi LE box.

Another pretty in this collection is GeiGei, which is labeled as a pink metallic, Again, I just see shimmer. At any rate, The formula is amazing, and this one could be a one-coater, too. However, I really don't like the way this looks on me. Nothing against the polish. I just don't think it meshes with my skintone.

And lastly we have Piaf, the only color in this collection I can say I do not like at all. It's yellow, but it's got green tones to it that make it look so strange. I can't even explain it. The formula is good, and the polish glided on my nails...but I just can't like it.

So what do you think? Any you think you can't live without? I think Blu is my favorite of this collection! This collection will begin shipping January 1 and are available at Zoya.com for $8 each.
