Milani COLORStatement lipsticks pinks and corals - picture heavy

Happy Monday! Today I have to show you these Milani lipsticks. I have 7 pinks and corals to share with you! I already posted about the orange and reds, but I think I forgot to mention something...they all (the oranges and reds and the pinks and corals) have the smell and taste of melon. Yes, melon!

This post is going to be so picture heavy! haha You will see all the beautiful colors behind the cut!

If you remember, with the oranges and reds, the lipsticks came in the cutest little lip-shaped cosmetic bag. That was one red, this one is pink :)

I'm not much into pink. That being said, some of these lipsticks aren't too bad! Some of them I will actually wear again if given the right opportunity. The photos below are just photos of the bottoms of the tubes. Not meant to be color accurate - just meant to show you guys the names :)

And here we go! First is Pink Frost, a light pink metallic. I'm not particularly fond of this lipstick. it's too light for me. My lips are thinner, so I really need a *punch* with them. This lipstick doesn't provide that. But it is smooth and creamy. It's not the most pigmented, but it does have that metallic shimmer!

Next up to Fruit Punch :) This is a subtle bubblegum pink, in my opinion. It's a cream, and goes on very easily. Like I said, it's very subtle and not bright.

Up next is one of my favorites - Flamingo Pose! I love the name and the color! A brighter pink cream, it hinges on bright Barbie pink! We started taking photos a little differently starting with this swatch - I think the rest of this post, my the photos look better, and the lippies look truer to color!

And moving on to Rose Hip - what I'd call a taffy pink. It totally reminds me of the color of pink Laffy Taffy. VERY bright bubblegum pink. This one is not one I'd wear much, I don't think - it's too bright for me.

And now my favorite! Hot Pink Rage! It's a matte finish, which is my favorite lipstick finish. The color isn't too bright, it's actually quite warm. It just looks natural on the lips!

Another of one of the ones I really like is Flirty Fuchsia. It's a very deep pink, and very blue-toned. I would almost categorize this with the purples, but it still leans enough toward pink that it would be out of place there! It's a vinyl finish, which from what I can gather by testing these lipsticks, is sort of a more shiny matte. It's definitely got a distinctive look comparatively.

And finally, there's Rose Amour, another pink cream. This one is the closest to Barbie Pink of these lipsticks. It's ok...it's just not my shade. I think it's a little too pale for me. It is very nice pigmented, and went on very smoothly.

And there you have it! While I liked the oranges and reds more, there are some stars in the pinks and corals! My picks are Hot Pink Rage, Flamingo Pose and Flirty Fuchsia :) They are available at CVS, Target, Walgreens, WalMart and KMart, and wherever else Milani is sold :) You can also purchase them from Milani Cosmetics' website at $5.49 each.
