NOTD: Milani Black Swift+Zoya Kotori!

Quicki, quick NOTD post for you this morning :) It was icky and rainy and sleety and icy and snowy here last night - yes, all of that happened within a few hours last night. The kid was sposed to have his Science Fair last night, but they postponed it because the weather was going to be gross ... and boy was it ever gross! Anyway, on to the nail prettiness!

Kotori is a bright blue shimmer with a darkened base, which I'm fairly certain is black. I tried putting this color on by itself, but it's very sheer, so it took a lot of coats and ended up looking very thick on the nail. So I thought I'd try it over a black polish, and what you get is the amazing-ness of what is pictured!!! That is one coat of Kotori over Milani Black Swift. It looks like the perfect base for galaxy nails!!! But anyway, here is a shot of Milani Black Swift, my most favorite one-coat black polish. It's also a fast dry!

It is creamy, smooth and perfect in one coat! I keep it near my nail polish table at all times because you never know when you might need a good black base :)

Zoya is running a promotion right now - purchase $25 worth of items and get three polishes free! If you haven't already opened an account on Zoya.com, you should! They are always running specials or promos. If you use my referral code, I will get credit for having referred you after your first purchase :) Best of all, when you sign up, there will be a coupon for a free bottle of Zoya waiting for you!
