This month offers a new FingerPaints collection - Once In A Wild! This group will, together, be a limited edition collection, and they are coming to a Sally'a near you! Individually, 3 are core colors, and the other 3 will only be available for a limited time.
Vermillion $ Painting is one of the core shades, and is a beautiful red-toned orange (or is it orange-toned red?) with intense shimmer. It is super pretty! The formula is a little on the thin side as far as formulas go, but that doesn't keep it from being buildable. Pictured is 3 thin coats. It probably could have been 2 coats, but I didn't want to make it look goopy.
Amazon Sky is a gorgeous deep blue shimmer that looks like twinkling stars! This is one of the limited edition shades, and I totally recommend picking this one up. I used 2 coats for what's pictured.
Titian Tint is another of the core shades in this collection, which means it will be available even after this collection is gone. The finish is metallic-y and leans an interesting rose gold. It kind of looks like foil a little...
The namesake of the collection, Once In A Wild, is a pretty shimmery purple. This is one of the LEs, and it won't be available once this collection is gone. It's kind of got an almost textured feel, but it's not too terribly rough to the touch. A good top coat will smooth it out. I used 2 thin coats for what's pictured.
Exotic Emerald is one of the polishes I wasn't too keen on. It's a neat polish for sure, but it just didn't do much for me. I think it might just be too dark for my taste. The formula is good, tho, and I didn't have any issues with application.
Amethyst Accent is a core polish, as well, and is a tad shifty. I mean it has a small shift in color from purple to a blurple if you hit the light just right. I used 3 thin coats for what's pictured, and I kind of like how it really catches the light.
What do you guys think? Do you think you'll pick any of these up? They are already out in some stores! I'm hoping these will work for a lot of people! FingerPaints polishes are available for Sally's Beauty Supply.
