Holy smokes, kids. I think I've found my new favorite polish - Indigo Bananas Synonym Bun. I just received this bottle yesterday, and I'm already planning to purchase a back-up bottle. Yes, I'm that obsessed. I think I've found my Favorite Polish of 2015. I swatched this yesterday as soon as I received it because we had such great sunshine. I gave myself a manicure and reshaped my nails last night, and I immediately put this polish back on, and I'm still weaing it today!
It's important to note that this polish looks different when it has top coat. All of my photos are without top coat and 3 thin coats. With top coat (like I'm wearing now), it pulls the most awesome shade of red-brown. I wish I'd known when I was taking pictures yesterday, and I would have taken some with top coat on the same nails :) That's what happens when I get too excited and don't research before swatching! :) I took so many pictures yesterday that I had trouble deciding which to use in this post! This is pretty much my "standard hand pose." haha!
I decided to try a few different angles, and the holo is good no matter which way you move! It's absolutely mesmerizing - I honestly can't stop staring at my nails. Even now.
I needed to see how the holo showed up with artificial light, as well. The next two photos were taken in my house, in my dark hallway with the flash from my camera. Withinside, or natural light, the polish looks like a pretty shimmer. But with any kind of direct light, this baby glows.
EDIT TO ADD: Here's a quick swatch of the polish on my nails right now. I have some tipwear because apparently the top coat I used wasn't very compatible. But it shows the color difference!
This polish is just gorgeous. It is definitely a MUST HAVE! It's part of the Fall 2015 holos, and I tell ya, you might just need them all. You can purchase this (and others!) at the Indigo Bananas' website for $12 for a full-sized bottle and $7.25 for a mini.
