Even though I like bright pops of color, I'm pretty into neutrals. I use them all the time in my makeup looks. I think they are more suited for my every day, as I don't really go anywhere or see anyone haha! I snagged these two from the Runway Collection from Jesse's Girl for just that reason - every day looks!
I chose Los Angeles and Tokyo. Both are super neutral with some different shades. I like how blending colors from each palette is easy, as there are no dividers. I purchased these at Rite Aid on separate occasions. I must admit I did a double take when I brought them home because they were more similar than I thought.
The downside is pigmentation. These shades have just enough, but not that little extra to make them special. They could be used for subtle nuances, but they wouldn't be for you if you need a bold statement. I think it's more my skintone, but in Tokyo, that lighter shade just disappears. I think on someone with a darker skintone, that shade would stand out much more.
Right now, there are on the Last Chance page on the website. They are now $2 each. You can get any of the Runway Collection for that price.
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these products myself or was given it as a gift.
