The hot, bright shades of summer are here in the six-piece Pop Movement collection from FingerPaints! There are three cremes (two bordering neon territory) and three sparse matte glitter toppers. I'm good with the glitters, but I think they could be a little more dense. I used one dabbed and slathered coat for my swatches. I was worried if I tried to do two the glitters would go nuts hahaMore after the cut!
I'll show you the pairs I used from this collection! First up is Kitchy Tangerine and Three's a Party. Kitchy Tangerine is a bright, bold neon orange. It does dry a bit on the matte side. Of course I adore it. It pairs great with the peachy, blue and yellow matte glitters of Three's a Party.
Paper Mache and Kozmotology got together - but then again Paper Mache would be good for any of the glitters because it's plain white :) hehe The formula is great, and could probably end up being a one-coater, but my first coat was too thin and it looked patchy. The right thickness of the coat would make a difference. Kozmotology has a nice mix of white, red, light blue, yellow and black matte glitters.
Art Deco Pink and Ka-Pow fit together, tho I think the pink glitters kinda melt into the pink base a little too much. Art Deco Pink goes the way of the crelly and is super bright. I didn't have any issues with formula like I expected to. The red, black, pink and white matte glitters in Ka-Pow are pretty together.
Overall, I like this collection. The bright pops of color just scream for summer - and keep in mind the orange and pink both dry the slighest bit on the matte side, giving them a neon feel! You can purchase these right now at Sally's Beauty Supply.
