I'm a HUGE fan of tinted lip balm. I have a collection to be rivaled by the masses. (Yes, I'm serious). If it's a tinted balm, I'll try it, and most likely love it. I've not met a tinted balm I didn't like - including these delicious Lip Bonbons from Younique! I have 2 of them currently - Red Velvet Cake and Chocolate Truffle. They are larger than I expected, and the size upgrade is well worth it! They are lighted scented with vanilla, and tinted to a shade close to their name. They are super moisturizing too! I was given the Red Velvet Cake balm as a hostess gift, and I purchased Chocolate Truffle on my own :)

I do like lipsticks. And some lip glosses. But tinted lip balms own my heart. You want to know why? They are easy to apply, easy to reapply, and generally, no mirror is needed! They add a subtle hint of color, and it's never too heavy or thick... and I never have in-to-out fade. You know what I mean? That awkward fade from the inside of your lips to the outside? Where it looks like you unintentionally did a gradient lip?


You can see below how the color is a bit deeper than other tinted lip balms, but it's still light. It doesn't feel heavy on the lips, either. I keep 2 or 3 tinted lip balms in my purse at any given time. A few years ago, I went to a Vampire Diaries convention - got to hobnob with the stars, sit in on panels and meet other fans! I had a tinted lip balm in my jeans pocket all day, every day. Not one of these, mind you, but this proves how deep my obsession goes!


The price point on these may seem steep, $22, but with the amount of product, and the quality, they are well worth it. Younique is a direct sales company, and I know several people who sell the product. Odds are, you guys know people who sell it, too! My friend Sheena is my hook-up, and she is who I order from! I do have some of their trademark mascara, but I have not tried it yet. I'm sort of scared of the fibers, if I'm being honest haha! One day I will try it, tho. But these tinted lip balms? One day I will own them all! I already have Raspberry Cheesecake in my cart to order through a fundraiser...
