I always shied away from expensive "high end" make-up before, I'll be totally honest. Take Urban Decay for example - I never would have felt comfortable purchasing a lot of Urban Decay make-up before, simply because of the price. But you know what? Life's too short! haha I decided to give a few lipsticks a try, and I'm so glad I did!

My heart has been completely captured by my dog, you guys. He's a Cairn Terrier named Clark Kent, and he pretty much rules our house. It's impossible not to love him. He loves people, but if he's held back from them, you'd think he was vicious. He barks and growls... but it's not because he wants to bite. It's because he wants to love on you!

A while back I ordered from ColourPop, and when I did I got a free lippie! Cool, yeah? Well, I decided to try the Ultra Satin Lip in Strut, a cool-toned taupe. I'm not really sure if it's my kind of color, but I do love the formula!

Why not kick off 2018 with a bang? Well, a bang from 2016 anyway hahah! I have got to get back on track and get to posting again - so I'm working my way through what I've got on "back log" here on the blog. I truly do love this Essie line from Fall 2016, so I knew I'd need to show them off. I won these from a giveaway - from Cosmetic Sanctuary.

As I sit here, hacking and coughing my way into the New Year, I've realized that I've neglected this blog for far too long. I don't make New Year's Resolutions. Well, I did once. But anyway - I decided this year I would make a relolution. To get back to blogging. I'm going to start off slow at first, just two times a week perhaps, but maybe, just maybe, I'll get the spark back.
