Today's post features the gorgeous Barielle Gentle Breeze Collection! There are 3 cremes and 2 shimmers, and you know I'm in love with the cremes! Check out my thoughts and swatches after the cut!
We'll start with Champagne Bubbles, the obvious choice for my favorite because it's in the orange family :) It's sort of a dusty, caramel-y orange. It's listed on the site as "tangerine" but I don't think it's bright enough for that designation. The formula was great, and I had no issues with it. I used two coats for what's pictured below.
I am completely mesmerized by this shade, Gray Skies. It's so shiny! It has some characteristics of being a metallic polish, but it applies more like a shimmer. You can see brushstrokes a little if you're not careful (you can see on my middle finger).
Heaven Sent is a gorgeous aquamarine creme. I had some issues with the formula, tho. It is definitely a one-coater, but it's thick and goopy. Granted, some thinner could fix this puppy right up, but off the bat, it's thick. It's still a stunning shade!
Now you all know I'm not much for pinks, right? Well, this shade, Pink Parasol, is really no exception hahaha! I mean, sure it's pretty. The formula is nice, too. However, it's a little too bubblegum-y for me.
Finally, we have Under the Sea, what the site refers to as "scuba blue." haha I think that's a cool description and all, but I'll go with a deep teal shimmer. The formula was a tad thinner than I like, but it was easy to work with and built up well in two medium coats.
Do you have any of the polishes from this collection? Barielle polishes can be purchased from the website and is $25 for the set of 5. They are 5-free, and Barielle does not test on animals.
