FingerPaints Picnic in the Park collection!

These pretties are part of a new FingerPaints collection coming to Sally's - Picnic In The Park! This collection just brings summer to mind! The bright, vivid colors sure do make a great collection!

I've taken a lot of pictures of this collection. You'll notice four photos for each color (except the glitter toppers) - sunlight, shade, indoors with natural light and indoors with flash (in that order, as if you are reading a book). I've done this for several reasons. I want to provide a wide variety of lighting options for you to see how the polish looks.

Let's start with Frosty Lemonade - I think my favorite of this group! Yellows are notorious for being hard to work with and goopy, streaky messes. Frosty Lemonade bucks that trend! This polish melted onto my nails, self-leveling in two coats. And the color is just gorgeous!

If you're a long-time reader, you know how much I love black and white glitters - so You're So Antsy is definitely a win for me! I love any and all black and white glitters, and this one is a welcome addition to my collection. Pictured is one coat over Frosty Lemonade - it's pretty packed! (and kind of reminds me of Batman...)

Sweet Spring has a lot going for it - but it's a little thin, and sometimes thin isn't good. It's a very pretty shade of light pink, and it's got a super jelly-ish quality to it. You can see, my ring nail had a little slippage. But honestly, all the other nails worked well. Maybe I rushed that nail. At any rate, just be advised it's more jelly-ish than creme.

I call Grassy Knoll "The incredible color changing polish" haha! If you look, it appears a completely different color in every photo! It's an incredible shade of green - it's just likes to morph hah! The formula is a tad on the thick side, but it's nothing that is difficult to work with.

I wanted to love Picnic Blanket. I really did. It's the coolest matte, square red and white glitter! Get it? That's why it's named Picnic Blanket! I do love the concept, but it's a very hunt, dab and place polish. I used one dabbed on coat over Grassy Knoll, and I didn't get very even coverage. I'll try placing the glitters next time :)

Last but not least is One In A Melon, a very pretty deep, deep Barbie pink. It's dark enough for me to be a fan! hahah You all know I'm not much of a pink person, but when the pink is dark enough, I can get on board with wearing it. The formula on this one was absolutely perfect, too, so that helped! A one-coater for me.

What do you guys think? Do you think you'll pick any of these up? They are to be released in March - so keep your eyes out if you want them. FingerPaints polishes are available for Sally's Beauty Supply.
