Zoya Wanderlust Collection

I'm easing back into this blogging thing. I realize that I may or may not be able to post every day. But I'm going to start off with the newest Zoya collection - Wanderlust! This collection features 12 beautiful, bright summer shades that will give you a heart for summer!.

Sonja - a summery crimson red cream
A very pretty shade. The formula, however, was on the thick side. Not awful, but enough to make application a bit of a chore.

Winnie - a soft watermelon pink cream
This is a deeper pink, not so much bubble gum-ish. Formula okay, but definitely needed 2 coats for full coverage.

Byrdie - a muted fuchsia pink cream
This one is a shade darker than Winnie, and it leans a little purple on me. The formula on this one was excellent. Almost a one-coater.

Esty - a rich bubble gum pink cream
Pulling a little more bubble gum, this shade's formula was pretty decent. This is another that is close to being good in one coat.

Lois - a rich magenta violet cream
The description of this one is a fancy way, for me, to describe purple. It's just a very pretty light purple haha And the formula was very nice on this one. It needed 2 coats, but the thickness was just right.

Sawyer - a soft taffy orange cream
This shade reminds me of dreamsicles. It's just got that sticky sweetness about it, right? The formula was a little thick, but nothing too bad. Probably could be a one-coater if applied correctly.

Cora - a muted coral cream
Now this one, this one is gorgeous! Perfect shade, great formula. I think if I had to choose a favorite, this one would be it. Great on 1 coat.

Arbor - a rich olive green cream
This polish just makes me think of gross things. Suffice to say, I'm not a fan of the shade. It has a great formula, tho. Two thin coats were all that was needed.

Journey - a shimmering strawberry red
This is the start of the shimmers, and this one, I think, is my favorite. It's got a silvery glow within it that makes it stand out. The formula is understandably thinner compared to the creams, but it's not bad. Pretty good in 2 coats.

Mandy - a shimmering berry pink
This shimmery delight really screams SUMMER to me. It just looks like the perfect shade for pool parties and cookouts. The formula is the best of the shimmers, too.

River - a shimmering cobalt blue
This one reminds me of the ocean. I guess that might be the point... the name also being a body of water haha In person, the polish sometimes looks like it's swimming on your nails! The formula is thin, and I did need 3 thin coats for what's pictured.

Scout - a shimmering moss green
This kind of looks... well, I'm just not sure. It's not bad, but this color just washes me out. It doesn't work for me. However, the formula is great on this one, and is on the thicker side. It's not as good as Mandy, but pretty close!

Are any of these shades calling you? I'd suggest Sonja, Cora and Mandy! Price point is $10 each, and you can break down this 12-piece collection in 2 sets - Set A and Set B.
