I have a thing for vampires right? Well, most vampires anyway. So when Amy sent me this new Literary Lacquers Lovers Duo, and they featured characters from Interview with a Vampire, I knew I would love them! Meet Lestat and Louis - the main characters of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
Lestat: A saturated lilac metallic linear holo. Icy and cool as the vampire himself.
What a pretty, subtle holo! The color is definitely a saturated lilac. I only needed 2 thin coats for coverage, and you can see how well it covers! It definitely looks best in the sun, so I have a few different angles to show - and I included a shot with the flash on my camera to show it does pack a wow factor inside with the right lighting.
Louis: Black and green glitter topper. Black hair, green eyes, the vampire with a guilty conscience
I love black glitter toppers. I have a ton of different kinds - mixed with colors, with white, with silver. I think there's something beautiful about a simple glitter toppper, one that isn't so packed full that it needs a base shade. They are so versatile! You can use glitter toppers like this over just about any polish, creating countless different combinations! This polish, I don't believe, could be used on it's own - unless you don't mind very visible bare nails. The glitters are packed, but not packed enough to make it opaque with a regular amount of coats.
So what do you guys think? I just love these! Truth me told, Louis is my favorite of the 2 :) These will be available in a big launch on July 25 - You can get these from Literary Lacquer's shop!
