The one comparing Zoya Mira and China Glaze Grape Pop

What a beautiful day to take swatch pictures outside! I wish I had more time today, but I had enough time to get my first 'dupe' comparison on the books ... or the camera, rather :) My two polishes for comparison are Zoya's Mira, one of the new Summertime collection polishes, and China Glaze's Grape Pop, from the Up & Away collection.
Side-by-side in the bottle, it appears as if Grape Pop is just a tad darker than Mira. I assumed when looking at the bottles that might be the case, but I've been deceived before and wanted to make sure for myself.

I used a base of China Glaze Strong Adhesion, two coats of each polish and a top cost of ORLY Sec'nDry.
At first glance, you can't tell. My husband couldn't tell. He had no idea I had two different polishes on. But he's a guy - and they don't notice things. I can tell, just vaguely, that Grape Pop is darker.
Check out the difference here. It's pretty evident in this direct sun photo of the difference...
...but not as much of a difference with inside, artificial lighting. Just glancing at my nails I can't tell the difference. Bottom line is, for me, these polishes are close enough in color, that it wouldn't bother me to just own one of them. But I love them both, and I'm glad I have them both. Ya know, one can never have too many purple polishes...

**DISCLAIMER**  I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself.  I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
