The one with the mani my son helped me choose

My son, while such a little manly man, sometimes enjoys occasionally helping Mom pick out polish. On our recent trip to CVS, he helped me pick out two polishes ... which I layered together to make a cute mani :)
First I started with this cool minty color, Mint Sprint, one of the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri colors...
The formula was really, really thick. Shown on my nails is just one coat over a base of China Glaze Strong Adhesion (I will sing the praises of that base coat forever). The color really is beautiful on its own, but I needed to dress it up...
...so I topped it with the other polish Lucas picked out, Party Palace Blue, in a brand I had never tried before, Confetti. It's this really pretty barely-there blue gel, packed with glitter. Then a top coat of ORLY Sec'nDry. For a cheaper drug store brand ($1.99) the Confetti topped my polish very nicely. I don't have any of the regular colors yet, just two jelly-like glitters, but I love this one so far. With my purchase, I got $8.00 in Extra Care bucks, so I went back and bought another heheh

And on another note, I'm almost halfway to the amount of followers I want before doing my giveaway!! Once I hit 50 followers I will have a polish giveaway with China Glaze polishes and Sinful Colors polishes. Who doesn't want free nail polish!?

**DISCLAIMER**  I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself.  I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
