The one with Deborah Lippmann Stop and Stare...and a splatter fail

I have my first Deborah Lippmann, and it was a color on my wishlist - Stop and Stare! It's a bright, creme red - a gorgeous color! My only problem with it is the formula is too thin.  Color's great, but I was hoping for better coverage in two coats.

The lightbox pictures are just a gorgeous shade of red. I used a base of China Glaze Strong Adhesion, then two coats of the polish and a top coat of Poshe (what I call the stinkiest top coat ever, but boy does it dry fast and shiny.)
See just how gorgeous it is? It TRULY is a phenomenal color. Here's natural light. No sunshine :( It's been either dreary and rainy or so hot and humid you can't breathe. Really puts a damper on things when your camera lens fogs up when you walk outside (and yes, I will have a post later this week where that very thing kept happening!)
But here's where I wasn't so happy:
VNL :( It was pretty visible IRL, as well. I guess I should have put on a third coat, but I can't remember the last time I had to put a third coat of polish on. Bottom line: LOVE the color, not too fond of the formula. Next time, I will have to try three coats.

I decided to dress it up! I'd heard a lot about splatter manis. I read Kayla's splatter mani tutorial and thought I could do it - but I will need more practice :)
