On the second day of Orange Week, I've got one of the OPI sorbets from the Texas Collection, Y'all Come Back Now, Ya Hear? It's a bright orange jelly-finish polish. I'm not much on jelly polishes. I mean, the squishy look is neat, but I normally cannot stand when I have VNL. Both of the pictures below are two coats in direct sunlight.
See the VNL? Drives me batty. If I ever do decide to wear this one on its own, I would have to use a base. But since my original intent with this mani was a glitter sandwich, I only used two coats.
What is a glitter sandwich, you might ask? It's where you sandwich a glitter polish between two coats of a jelly or sorbet. I decided to use OPI Extra-va-vaganza for this sandwich. So...two coats of Y'all Come Back Now, Ya Hear?, two coats of Extra-va-vaganza and a topper coat of Y'all Come Back Now, Ya Hear? Here's what it looks like:

Interesting right? It was sort of a pain to remove, so if I do this again, I will really have to want the look :) Have you ever worn a glitter sandwich? Which polishes did you use?
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
