Did any of you guys out there watch Roswell? The teens are really aliens soap-cum-scifi show on The WB and UPN? The show revolved around do-gooder Liz Parker who is saved by alien Max Evans after she is shot. Max, his sister Isabel and their friend Michael are aliens from the planet Antar. They crashed down in Roswell in 1947. Along with Liz's friends Maria and Alex, the teens forge a friendship, keeping the secret of the aliens' true nature.
I watched the show and really liked it. I never read the books the show was based on, but I liked the show. So much so that I even have a keychain with the Antarian symbol. My husband didn't really watch the show when it was on, but lately we've been watching it together. He knows basically everything that ends up happening, but it's neat to rewatch :) ...which gave me the idea for today's nail art! Here is my keychain....next to my attempt!
I know it's not completely 100% perfect. It took four tries to get even close...but I'll take it! I used WetnWild Black Creme for the base and WetnWild Metallica for symbol. I used dotting tools to make the symbol...I don't have any nail art brushes.
Here are all four fingers, with all four tries :)
I don't think I did that badly :) It was certainly an adventure :) What about you guys? Have you ever done TV-inspired nail art? How did it turn out? Any TV-inspired nail art suggestions for me? I mean, I may not watch the show, but maybe we can pull something together :)
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
