Truvy: What are your colors, Shelby?
Shelby: Blush and Bashful.
M'Lynn: Her colors are pink and pink.
Shelby: My colors are Blush and Bashful, Mama...I have chosen two shades of pink, one is much deeper than the other.
M'Lynn: Oh how pretentious is this wedding going to get I ask you? That sanctuary looks like it's been hosed down with Pepto Bismol.
hahah Yes! This quote from
Steel Magnolias pretty much sums up the new
Zoya Beach collection shade Shelby. A bubblegum pink. As soon as I saw the name of this color and noticed the very very pinkness of it, that quote immediately sprang to mind! Shelby's formula is great, just like all
Zoyas :) Two coats to opaque!
Shelby is described on
Zoya.com as "Soft but colorful cherry blossom pink with an opaque cream finish. A light girly pink with enough tint to keep it from looking pastel or washed out." Definitely girly! This shade of bubblegum pink is traditionally not my cup of tea. I probly won't be wearing this shade often.

It is a very creamy pink for those who enjoy wearing pink. I'm not much of a pink wearer, but I can't deny the awesomeness of
Zoya's formula. This will be a very nice color for summer! I plan to use this for another watermarble attempt actually!
The Beach collection is available on
Zoya's website right now. They retail for $8 per bottle or you can buy the full set of six polishes for $48. Don't have an account at
