The one with Franken Friday - Hybrid! (picture heavy)

So, if you've followed for a while, y'all know I've been working on a series of Vampire Diaires-themed polishes. I've already showed you Mystic Nights, Kill the Messenger, Lapis Lazuli and Comet Powered. So what do I have for you today? Just a little franken called Hybrid...which took me about a bazillion years to perfect! Well, not really. It was more like three months. But what I created is so awesome!

Hybrid is a black jelly base packed with all kinds of pink glitter. Hot pink, baby pink, Barbie pink...you name it, it's pretty much in there. First I swatched it as a "glitter cover" in one coat over some colors...

Layering was nice and all but I decided to see how much mettle it had on it's own. Three coats of Hybrid, one coat of Gelous (to smooth out the bumpies) and one coat of Poshe top coat...

Woohoo! The above pictures were taken on day one of wear...then things got hectic around my house! Normally I change my polish every other day. But for the craziness going in my household, I looked down 3 days later, and I had no chips! So on day four...

So by then I was just like "Screw this! I'm gonna see how long this puppy will wear!" The next photos were taken on day six...

SERIOUSLY. Six days!? How did I get this far!? But a few hours after these photos were taken, tragedy struck...
A chip! I almost made it a full week! Ah well. Six days is still really awesome right? :)

So...what do you think of Hybrid? Keep in mind I spent months perfecting it, so I may go off on you if you say it's not cool...hahaha just kidding! :)
