The one with Acquarella Mahalo+Acquarella's Cosmoprof booth!

I have a new-to-me brand to show you today! The company is called Acquarella, and it's a water-based polish! The one thing I learned with this type of formula is that prep is key. Let me just show you the polish first...

This color is called Mahalo, a Hawaiian blue. The prep may seem daunting, but it's actually just simple conditioning to cleanse the nail and get it ready for the polish. You can see the instructions here. You prep for three days, and then you are ready to polish! I had excellent wear time. I wore this for two days with no chips, dents or nicks. I might have worn it longer if I hadn't needed to switch up my polish.

Acquarella polishes have a special remover, as well. Normally, with green or blue polishes, my nails get stained up and end up looking gross. Not with Acquarella! Not even a blue tinge after removal!

My only concern, and you can see it on my middle finger, is bubbles in the polish. I need to practice more to get the bubbles out. I have a feeling it's just something that comes with time...everything else was a breeze! I adore this color! It's bright and vibrant...no base or top coat, so it really shows the true color :) I have another Acquarella polish, a red one, to try next...and I'm excited :)

Here are some shots from the company's Cosmoprof booth...just to give you an idea how many polishes they produce!

And here's the necessities that go along with the polish - moisturizer, conditioner, remover, etc...

Do any of you have water-based polishes or have any Acquarellas? I would LOVE to hear what you think about them!
