The scent is soft. Kind of musky...with a hint of something I can't quite put my finger on. It's not overpowering in the slightest. Deborah said her goal was "subtle and sexy." And yep - she achieved that! So imagine my old, crazy brain forgetting about the scent almost as soon as I found it...
Fastforward to taking pictures of the lipstick and polish together. I thought it was funny to use my son's fake plastic vampire teeth. haha And got the brilliant idea to do the "shocked" look (you know the one, your mouth slight open, your hand up over to cover it?)

Yep. I'm so old I forgot the polish was scented. Every time my nails moved through the air, or I posed for a photo like below, I thought I was going crazy. My mind kept cycling through all the things that could be wrong with me when you start smelling strange things. Was one of my other senses going to disappear and my sense of smell was overcompensating? Was I finally going to get my dream of becoming a superhero - with a heightened sense of smell? What would my superhero name be with that superpower. I'd be like Gus on Psych...The Super Smeller.
Someone once told me when your brain is malfunctioning during a stroke, you can sometimes smell garbage. I was starting to wonder if when beauty bloggers stroke out, they smell pretty things instead.

But then when I sat down to look at the box yesterday when I started to write my post, I literally hit myself in the head with the box. THE POLISH IS SCENTED. I felt like such an idiot! So, yeah, of course, I had to share this with you guys. I just wish I was finally getting that superhero gig.
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
