The one with the Friday Five - cuticle care!

Today I have a new weekly feature for the blog - it's the Friday Five! Every Friday I will bring you a list, created by me, of five things of my choosing. Could be my five favorite books, five things you can always find in my purse, five of my all-time favorite manis...but today, to kick us off, I've got the five things I use to keep my cuticles in check. I have found more often than not, if I don't take care of my cuticles every single day, multiple times a day, it's detrimental to my whole nail. So here we go!

One of these five things is ALWAYS within arm's reach. from left, Julep rollerball cuticle oil, Burt's Bees cuticle balm, Poshe cuticle care cream, Nivea moisturizing creme and Aquaphor.

First we have Julep cuticle oil. It smells like Fruity Pebbles! I'm addicted to it :) I have one in my purse and one on my "manicure table," which is really just the end table next to the end of the couch where I sit! haha not only does it smell good, but it's nourishing! Plus, you don't have to worry about it leaking or spilling out if you toss it in your purse. I take one with me everywhere I go :)

Next is Burt's Bees cuticle balm. It's labeled as a cream, but it's really a balm. It has the consistency of Chapstick. It smells like lemons and really rehydrated my cuticles! I keep this one in my bag I take to church and Bible studies, or I get it out of the bag if I truly need the nourishment at home!

My favorite of all five of these things is the Poshe cuticle care cream. The tube is so handy to apply to your nails! And it's not greasy feeling. I use it at least once a day, sometimes two. It was recently on clearance at Sally's and I cleaned the rack out so I would have lots in reserve! It smells lightly...some type of lotion-y scent. I was first introduced to this cream at Cosmoprof back in July...and I've been obsessed with it ever since.

The little white tub is a freebie I got from CVS one day - Nivea moisturizing creme. It's very strongly scented, so I can't use it very often, but it hydrates deeply dry cuticles extremely well! Sometimes I will put this over the Burt's Bee's to lock in the moisture!

Lastly, we've got Eucerin Aquaphor. This stuff is TOUGH on dry cuticles and skin. It's really greasy - but it's worth it! When my cuticles are at their worst, which is usually in the winter, I slap some of this on them and they are almost instantly healed. It's a miracle lotion! It's clear and has the consistency of a gel...and a little goes a long way!

So there you have it! My five go-to cuticle moisturizers! Do you guys have a favorite?
