I knew that Essence Bella would stain my nails. It's stained my nails every time I've worn it. I thought I'd found a way to combat it - two thick coats of two very thick clear polishes acting as my base. Boy was I wrong...
This was my most recent run-in with Bella. And that's just ONE coat of Bella over two coats of thick base. Like, a milky base even! Isn't that just insane? I tried toothpaste, I tried buffing. Nothing. As I sat on the couch fuming over this staining yet again, I remembered that once, a while back, I purchased ASP Whitening Paste at Sally's. I figured it was worth a shot, seeing as how nothing else worked. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!
It's very creamy, much like toothpaste. There's a hard bristled brush that comes with the kit.All you do is put the paste on the brush and scrub a little. I didn't even have to scrub very hard. The stains just lifted off the nail!
I'm so glad I bought this stuff! Since I've only used it once, I have no idea how long a tube will last. It's not a very big tube...sort of like a mini toothpaste tube? Regardless, with the price of $3.99, it's a keeper in my eyes!
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by
anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as
friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I
am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone
who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
