The one with Rock Your Hair shampoo and conditioner!

Two posts in one day! :) I have to share this with you...and it's something I got at Cosmoprof! This has a little story ... :) Once upon a time, there was a guy named Michael O'Rourke and he created Big Sexy Hair. I personally never used it...I still rarely use hairspray...but I knew what Big Sexy Hair was. It was the go-to for most people. Anyway, Mr. O'Rourke sold his company and signed a non-compete for several years. After those years were up? Mr. O'Rourke went to work on a new line of hair care products - and Rock Your Hair was born!

I was drawn to the booth at Cosmoprof because it was happy and bright and upbeat! I even got to meet Mr. O'Rourke himself. I had already gotten samples of the shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner, but when Mr. O'Rourke saw me, he leaned over and grabbed a giant bottle of hairspray, and said, "And, oh my, you will need this, too." I'm still trying to decide if that was a compliment! haha ;)

So I decided to give the shampoo and conditioner a try. They both have a sweet, citrus-y smell. It's not entirely unpleasant, but it's vaguely perfumey.

I used both the shampoo and conditioner for a week. My hair was super soft and manageable during that week, too! And even into the week after I used the shampoo. But while my hair was awesome, my scalp was not. It was itchy and flaky :( Which is awful because I really liked the way the shampoo and conditioner worked with my hair! My hair was smoother to the touch when using this combo...and so much body!

*sigh* Pictured above is the shampoo on the left, conditioner on the right. Have you guys ever tried any Rock Your Hair products? I have used the hairspray a few times, but not enough to really test it out. I'm not very good with leave-in conditioners, so I'm kind of scared to use it! haha :) You can buy your own Rock Your Hair products, here, with free shipping!
