LA Colors eye shadow palette in Marigold swatches+review

This post was one I have been dreading for a while! hahahaha Yeah, I've put up eyeshadow posts before, no problem! But this one, well, it didn't look good at all. AT ALL.  As you guys know, I just recently really got into makeup. I didn't know what difference real make brushes would make. Let's just say, my first attempt at a look with this eyeshadow palette isn't even fit for human eyes. Let's just say that since I have acquired a few brushes, I'm much more comfortable working with this palette.

This is the Marigold trio from LA Colors. Aren't the flowers super cute? Now, that green is definitely an eyeshadow color that's out of my comfort zone. Extremely. But, being more daring with my makeup has become a thing, so here I am. I found these shadows a little more powdery than the other trios. I don't know if it's because the lightest is almost white or what.

Now, the eye look I'm about to show you is SO MUCH better than what I originally had. But it's still not really good. I'm just not good with shading, and I try to blend, and it just doesn't blend. I've been seeing people on various social media talking about women who don't know how to do their makeup properly, and it kind of makes me feel bad because I'm so old and just starting to learn :/

I know, I know. It's not very good hahah But I'm trying! Getting some brushes was a really good idea. And I practice every day! What do you think of this palette? Anyone else have it and find it flaky?
