It's cold here again! I'm ready for warmer temps, spring and flowers. Sheesh. That groundhog needs fired. He said early spring, not 6 more weeks of winter! ...and yes, this is 6 weeks since he made his prediction. It might be time to let Phil retire with dignity! hahah :) For this sludgy, cold day, I've got one of the Color Club Halo Hues for you today! This one is Over The Moon, a gorgeous icy blue.


Look at that rainbow! The really great thing about these Halo Hues is they don't require any special base. I just used a regular base coat with these! I'm always wary of putting a top coat on holos, so I did wear these without top coat.


The formula on the Halo Hues I have tried is amazing! Two coats with no streakiness or patches. I mean, I'm not much of a holo person, but every once in a while, I break out of my normal routine and use one. They are great for accent nails, and sometimes, when the color is darker, I do enjoy wearing a holo.


Do you guys have any of the Halo Hues? Do you have specific colors you recommend? Like I said, I like darker colors. I do have some more holos coming up - another of the Halo Hues and the China Glaze Hologlam collection!
