This is the darkest of the China Glaze Hologlam collection polishes, I believe! This one is a midnight blue called Strap on Your Moonboots. It's a very deep, dark blue..and the rainbow effect is more evident in this one, I think, than in most of the others. Probably because it's so dark. Also, it comes out even more in person in just the right sunlight.


The formula on this one was better than the lighter colors (Or maybe I was just getting better with my application? hehe) I didn't experience any drag or bald spots. Two coats went on smoothly. I have said it before, but I am more partial to darker holos like this, even if the effect is subtle.


The Hologlam collection should be popping up this month at fine salons and beauty supply stores nationwide with an SRP of $14. The jump in price is due to the pigment used to make the holo. Do you have your eyes on any of these?
