Wishful Bath & Beauty's FEVERshadow in Effie's Trinket swatches+review - PICTURE HEAVY

Hellooooo! How is everyone today? Well, I've got another FEVERshadow pigment from Wishful Bath & Beauty to share with you today - Effie's Trinket! Remember my post about Rue's Wildflowers? I love Effie's Trinket just as much as I love Rue's Wildflowers! They are both super long-lasting, highly pigmented eye dusts.

Effie's Trinket is a rich metallic gold with flashes of pink. It's super bold and very much like Effie herself! I have tried it in various combinations with other colors, particularly greens or teals. This pigment looks great paired with them :)

Pictured above is ONE short swipe with a small brush. Just one. These shadows are very pigmented, silky smooth and clay-based, which makes them long-lasting. They are toxin-free and natural...and the claim of long-lasting is most certainly true. These pigments wear on me for 10 hours. Well, I say 10 hours because that's the longest I've worn them. That's when it was time to take off my makeup and go to bed :)

The cut here, is entirely necessary as I have 5 eye looks to show you. Enter at your own risk! All eye looks use the Jesse's Girl eye primer, which I received in a goodie bag at Cosmoprof from Jesse's Girl.

This was my first look with Effie's Trinket. The pigment is spread on the eyelid, and I kinda outlined the lid with the teal from the Wet n Wild Sparkle 'Til Morning palette.

For this look, I put Effie's Trinket on the lid and then, well, I call it "highlighting" hahaha but that's not really what it is. I used the green from the LA Color Marigold trio and kind of feathered it up from the lid a ways, but not all the way up. It's kind of like a halo :) I finished it with green eyeliner.

This one was super simple!!! I used one of the Sephora eyeshadow pencils on the lid and kind of feathered it up a ways, and then spread from Effie's Trinket on the lower lid.

More fun with greens! This is my favorite look with Effie's Trinket :) For this look, I started with a base of the white Sephora eyeshadow pencil, topped with Effie's Trinket and finished with the green eyeliner :)

This look is still iffy for me, but I'm going to try it again, changing it up a little. I combined Effie's Trinket with Jesse's Girl Sunset Blvd...it looks more interesting in person, I promise. It didn't photograph well :) haha Sunset Blvd is on the lid, highlighted with Effie's Trinket.

I personally like working with these clay-based pigments. They go on more smoothly. ...and the right tools are must. You can purchase Effie's Trinket here for $5 for a 3 gram plastic container. Visit Wishful Bath & Beauty and check out all the other pigments, as well as nail polishes!
