Good afternoon! I've finally got the Zoya Stunning collection ready for you guys! This is a collection of 6 cremes - altho, I've found, there is some hidden shimmer in a few of them!
I'll get some of the regulars out of the way - formula on all of them was a little on the thick side, which if you know me, you know I like. The only one I had any iota of trouble with was Darcy, which, yes, it's yellow. I didn't have a HUGE problem, but it appeared thicker than the others and was a little tougher to manage. Overall, this collection is made of win! These colors are right up my alley, and I imagine they will be used a lot :)
Check out individual photos after the cut!
First up is Thandie, which should come as no surprise as my favorite! Thandie is a bright creamy orange creme - and I found out in the sun, there's hidden shimmer! You can see it in the bottle, as well as on the nail! It's not mentioned on the Zoya site, tho. I will definitely be wearing Thandie a lot.
Yana is a bright Barbie pink creme. I think the Zoya site called it a "geranium" pink - regardless it's a darker pink, which makes it almost ok in my book! This is another with the hidden shimmer! haha Actually, this polish isn't all that bad. Lately, I've been wearing a lot of darker pinks and finding them ok. I guess they compliment my skintone or something.
Josie is such a pretty green! In my mind she's a dark mint, but truthfully, this polish can be described as a grass green. This polish had the best formula of this collection. Smooth and silky, not a hint of goopiness or patchiness.
On to Rocky, a light sky blue creme. I have two other Zoyas kinda like this one, and it really reminds me of a less bright version of Robyn. Speaking of which - I do have some comparisons in mind for this collection...but if you guys want to request something, sound off in the comments! But back to Rocky - I put Rocky on to wear on my son's field trip last week and got LOTS of compliments! :) It is a great blue, so calm and peaceful :)
And on to Darcy, a strikingly bright yellow. This is another creme with hidden shimmer than showed up in the sunlight! I had a tad bit of a problem applying Darcy...she ended up with a pretty decent bald spot on my ring finger. I tried my best to work around it, but I think it kind of ended up looking a little thick after that. Other than that, Darcy was ok. It is super bright! Very, very sunny :)
And last, but not least, is Micky, a very light, sort of bubblegum-y pink with coral-y tones. I see this as more of a pink than a coral myself. The formula was pretty good, but like the others a little thick. I think this color will compliment a lot of skintones, and could be used best in nail art for me. I've been thinking about trying one of my watermarble fails with these polishes hahah
And there you are! All 6 polishes in the Zoya Stunning Collection for this summer! See any that you like? Any you have to have? Well, you can get them from Zoya.com for $8 each or $48 per set. Zoya.com currently only ships to the United States, but they have been saying for a while that they are working on international shipping. Hopefully that comes to fruition sometime soon! I know a lot of international gals who really want to get their hands on Zoya polishes! These polishes are also sold at Ulta and, in some markets, Whole Foods.
