Zoya Satin Collection for fall 2013 swatches+review

**press sample**

Ok, first of all - have you guys checked out the two giveaways I've got going right now? You can check out my collab giveaway with another blogger here, and you can take part in my End It Movement awareness giveaway here. As for today's post, I bring you the Zoya Satin Collection!
This collection is full of deep, rich Autumn-like colors and most are opaque in one coat!!! ...and you know how much I love one-coaters :) Shimmery metallics galore! I break them down after the cut! :)

Let's start off with my favorite of the collection (which should be no surprise) Channing! This rusty, coppert orange-y red shimmer stole my heart from the first brush stroke - and she's a one-coater! The formula is spot-on for me.

Up next is Claudine, a deep dark charchoal-y grey shimmer. She was close to being a one-coater, but I think operator error left a few drags in my polish. Otherwise, great formula. Flowed on the nail quite nicely :) My only issue was that clean-up was kind of icky with the dark polish - but that's not the fault of the polish :)

Who's next? Mason!! I've never met a girl named Mason, but I'm sure there are some out there :) Therefor, Mason makes me think of my favorite character from the Vampire Academy books. If you haven't read those, and you're a YA supernatural fan, you need to :) Anyway, the polish! It's a deep violet with hints of red. Perfect fall color if you ask me ;) Only needed one coat.

Now Neve is a conundrum. She's blue, she's purple. Blurple is a good word, but check out the pink and blue sparkly bits in the polish. Neve is one that you never know what you'll get when you wear! Formula is great, one coat :)

I thought I would love and adore Giovanna. It's a beautiful color in the bottle and looks great on the nail. But the formula on my bottle left some to be desired. See my ring finger? The polish actually slid sideways! Plus, it stained a little. Not so much that I had to take drastic measures, but I had to scrub pretty hard with a sugar scrub.

And last, but not least, Maria Louisa! She's a gold cellphanr top coat, along the same vein as a flaky. I swatched it over Channing, and I think it's stunning! The consistency of the polish is a lot like a good glitter - not goopy or thick. The polish flowed right on the nail like butter :)

See any polishes you like? You can buy these online from Zoya's website for $8 each, or buy all 6 in a sampler pack for $48. You can also find these at Ulta and Whole Foods :)
