Born Pretty Holographic #8 swatches+review

**press sample**
Happy Thursday!!! I haven't forgotten about posting :) I just got super busy this morning, and ended up away from home for a lot longer than I intended. Have you checked out the details of having your nails featured in my birthday collab post? Head on over and get your ideas ready! As for right now, I've got a beautiful, bright blue holo from Born Pretty Store to show you!

I'm not a HUGE holo fan by any means, but I do enjoy the darker colors more than the lighter colors. This is a darker, less frosty blue/silver than so many holos I see. There's absolutely nothing wrong with those holos - I just like darker colors :)

I don't use any special base coat with my holos. I've heard aqua base (is that what it's called?) is good for them, but I've yet to try it. Pictured is two coats of polish over regular base coat, topped with NYC Grand Central Station as topcoat.

My only complaint about this polish is that the bottle is so small! Each bottle is only 6ml, compared to a "standard" size polish at 15ml.

At $6.99 each, you may think they are a little steep in price, especially for the size. However, I think it's still a good price! You can order this polish, as well as others, from the Born Pretty website. While you're there, check out all the other great things they have there - water decals, glitter, flocking powder, jewelry...the list goes on!
