I'm not sure if I ever mentioned it here on the blog or on my FB page, but a few weeks ago I had a pretty intense allergic reaction to a face wash. It was one of the new Olay Fresh Effects. One of the exfoliators. I've had bronchitis and was on an antibiotic, so I'm not sure if the meds did something to my skin, or if I really had that severe of a reaction. My face swelled and got all blotchy and bumpy and red. I looked horrible. It took a few days for my face to start looking normal, and a huge part of that was my using Sibu Beauty Repair and Protect Nourishing Facial Cream. For a few days, it was the ONLY thing I could put on my face! Everything else stung my skin or was too heavy. I couldn't wear makeup, and the "burn" look was drying me out! But this facial cream was perfect. It helped nourish and protect my skin, without feeling that I'd slathered on mayonnaise hahah

From Sibu's website:
Our sea buckthorn facial cream, with omega 7 fatty acids, creates the perfect barrier to moisturize, rejuvenate, repair and protect. This light, non-greasy cream is ideal for daily use and offers a pleasing, light citrus scent. It is paraben-free and cruelty-free, and contains NO dairy, yeast, wheat, gluten, sodium or preservatives.

Ingredients:
Water, Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, Glycerin (Vegetable), Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Polyglyceryl-10 Pentastearate, Behenyl Alcohol, Sodium Steroyl Lactylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Lemon Essential Oil, Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice powder, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Xanthan Gum, Panthenol, Sodium Phytate

The one really nice thing about this moisturizer is that is it lightweight. When I have it on my face it doesn't feel heavy or bogged down - actually the only way I knew it was actually on my face after I smoothed it across my skin was the sweet, soft scent. It smells kind of like a sweet orange, but not exactly. It's a very light citrus-y scent that doesn't linger around much.

The website says the cream rejuvenates sun damaged skin, protects against environmental stress and preserves healthy skin tone and texture. It's noted that it's 100% natural and for all skin types.

From the website:
Paraben-FREE and Cruelty-FREE. No dairy, wheat, gluten, sodium, yeast or preservatives. Our sea buckthorn is sourced through fair trade agreements with local harvesters in Tibet.

The dispenser is a pump-style, which I had no issues with. I was able to use a small amount of the product and not have to worry about pumping out the excess on my finger.

This is a product I'm positive I will purchase once this bottle is empty. Just from the way it soothed my skin when I had the reaction, I know this is a long-term product for me. You can purchase this right now for $20.95 from the website, and also check out their other products. Like I mentioned above, I believe this is a worthwhile product for my skin, and I do plan to purchase it.
