Zoya Awaken collection swatches+review

**press sample**
Good morning! Showcased today will be the Zoya Awaken Collection - on sale now on Zoya's website! Overall, I like this collection, but it didn't wow me. The cremes are typical Zoya cremes - nice application (when you extract our user error), but the metallics were a little watery. Check out more swatches behind the cut :)

Let's start with my obvious choice for favorite of the collection - Cole. Even tho I already had Cole (in its Stella incarnation), it's still a gorgeous creamsicle color :) In my photo, you can see issues on the ring finger - I had a little issue with the formula being a tad thick. It sort of didn't self level like all the other fingers. I needed two coats for what's pictured.

Moving on to the other creme of the collection, Dot. This lighter pink isn't all that bad of a color, I'm just not a huge pink fan. This one had the best formula of all the polishes in this collection. Bonus: Dot looks great with Monet. Two coats pictured.

I'm certain this polish's name was inspired by Rebel Wilson, but I can't help but thing of the song Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie haha! This sky blue is a beautiful color. Pictured is three thin coats.

Dillon is up next, and this one is kind of a cross between mint green and seafoam. I guess it depends on which way the light throws it? This one took 3 coats, but was tricky. It was almost like it knew it was thin, but wasn't to act like it was thicker? It was odd :)

And the shiniest color - Hudson, a purple orchid metallic. I don't think it comes close to the Pantone color radiant orchid. It's too greyed out to be that bright. But it is super shiny! Three thin coats.

And my least favorite of the collection (and it's probly a preference thing) - Brooklyn, a white gold metallic. This color just makes my hands look horrible. It doesn't go well with my skintone at all. Two coats are pictured - and you can see stroke marks on my ring finger. I'm not sure if that was user error or just weird application.

You can order this polish for $9 each or all 6 for $54 on the Zoya website. Available now.
