Sally Girl Ice Cream Shoppe collection!

Ever see a trend and wonder how hard it's going to be on your nails? I wonder that every time I see a milky polish with glitter. I've made a new determination, tho. Whenever I wear one of these polishes, from now on, I'm going to wear a corresponding base coat. That will keep the glitter from adhering to my nails, taking away the death grip it has. I hate scraping the glitter off my nails.

haha back on track! The polishes I'm showing to you today, the Sally Girl Ice Cream Shoppe collection, are those kinds of polishes - milky with glitter. Only the glitter is small and just looks like chocolate flakes in ice cream haha There's four to show you, so off we go!

First is Mint Chocolate. This one was my favorite color of the group, but not necessarily my favorite overall... if that makes sense! The color is great, but the formula, not so much. You can see in the photo that the glitter is sometimes eclipsed by the polish, and it just looks a little lumpy.

But Cherry Chip, on the other hand, looks nice a smooth. The glitters appear to 'stick out' from the base more, and they don't look so covered up.

Taking everything into account, Grape Sherbert is my favorite. I love the shade of purple and the way the glitters pop out. Plus, I love grape! :)

The fourth polish in this collection is Chocolate Chip, and it does look like chocolate chip ice cream! The formula on this one was thinner than the others, but I just attributed that to it being white.

So what do you think? Are you into the milky with glitter trend? I admit that I've picked up more than a few of this type lately. I'm not "over" the trend yet - but I'm certainly not "on" it! haha The good thing about Sally Girl polishes is they are super cheap at 99 cents - but the bottles are very small! The special collections are usually up in a display on the counter. That's where I found these when I purchased them.

**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
