I have another of the In Bloom duos from Salon Perfect to show you today! I already showed you the combo of Mint Julep and Bellini, and today I've got Baby Blues and Varsity Blue! I decided, once again, to show these off with some nail art :)One of my favorite nail art techniques is the plastic wrap mani. To achieve this look, first you must lay down a base color. I chose Baby Blue for this. Now the base has to be completely dry for this next step - I usually paint my base and then wait until the next day haha At any rate, the next step is taking another color, and here I've used Varsity Blue, and painting a layer of polish over the existing color. Then you use little pieces of scrunched up plastic wrap to dab at the nails. It leaves behind this marble effect. I love it :) You top coat it, and that helps to bring the marble-y effect together.
My only gripe is the clean-up! Mostly because these were blue polishes - I hate clean-up with blues and greens. Have you guys tried this nail art technique? What color combos have you tried? Salon Perfect polishes are available at WalMart - and these duos are selling for less than $5 for the pair!
