Milani has completely revamped their polish and eyeshadow lines - and I've had the opportunity to test out the nail polish! There are so many of them that I decided to break them up into trios and show off some nail art. Only today.... it's less nail art and more layering combos with these polishes. Above is a jelly sandwich with Vintage Lace Sheer and a pink glitter called Club Lights. I like it! It's very soft and subtle. It's not something I would wear every day, however. My nails like being loud. Below is a horrible attempt at layering haha! It's a base of Mauving Forward, a layer of Club Lights and then topped with Vintage Lace Sheer. It kinda looks washed out, doesn't it?
Let's start with the three polishes! Mauving Forward is a creamy muted purple, and it goes on super smooth. I had no issues with application and pictured is two coats.
Club Lights (over Mauving Forward) is a clear base packed with pink glitters. It's pretty thick in application, but you can help with that my doing thin coats. You don't really need to dab and place with this glitter, as coverage is pretty good.
Now.... Vintage Lace Sheer. Wow. It's just like a shiny porcelain finish. Definitely a pretty neutral, but it just adds this gloss over everything. Definitely a nice base of nail art!
Soooooooooooo, what do you think? These are part of the core line of Milani makeup, so you can get them anytime (or from the website) - but if you see some you like, maybe you should pick them up? :)
