The FingerPaints Tie Dye Revolution Collection is a bright, fun set of colors that usher in summertime fun! The bright hues are joined by a previously released white shade, Paper Mache, for the display. I think this collection would be cool watermarbled, or a great way to experiment with the needle drag technique!
I've taken a lot of pictures of this collection. You'll notice four photos for each color - sunlight, shade, indoors with natural light and indoors with flash (in that order, as if you are reading a book). I've done this for several reasons. I want to provide a wide variety of lighting options for you to see how the polish looks.
Be Hippy is a beautiful darker sky blue, and is amazing in 2 thin coats. Watch out for staining with this one, tho! I had some mild staining around my cuticle area. Pictured is 2 coats.
Tie Dye Tangerine is, of course, my go-to shade! It's bright and very, like POW right there in your face. The really good part is that it could be a one-coater - I used 2 for my photos.
Far Out Fuchsia is totally a one-coater! This pink is deeper, so to me it's not too bad :) Heheh It's got a nice formula.
Yellow Out Man is in the vein of a typical yellow. Had some application issues, it got a little clumpy and thick. But with some patience, it all evens out.
Peace Love & Green isn't for me, I don't think. It's thin and kinda watery, and even after 3 coats, there's still some patches.
What do you guys think? Do you think you'll pick any of these up? They are already out in some stores! I'm hoping these will work for a lot of people! FingerPaints polishes are available for Sally's Beauty Supply.
