I think I'm finally back! I have a whole slate of posts for this week - so let's kick it off with the newest FingerPaints collection, shall we? This collection is on sale now at Sally's so you'll need to hightail it there to get them! This is the Tis The Season to Sparkle collection!
I've taken a lot of pictures of this collection. You'll notice four photos for each color - sunlight, shade, indoors with natural light and indoors with flash (in that order, as if you are reading a book). I've done this for several reasons. I want to provide a wide variety of lighting options for you to see how the polish looks.
Let's start off with Romanesque Rouge, the standout on this collection for me. This juicy red is simply perfect, and I never wanted to take it off. It flowed on smooth in two coats. It's definitely a cream, but it has the sleek look of a jelly. This is a re-promote, but does well for holiday-themed nails.
Vintage Vincent is one of those colors I can never get enough of. It's a thick teal cream with silver shimmer. You know me and teal :) hahah Like I mentioned, it's on the thick side, but it's not hard to use. It actually made it quite easy to apply. This one is a re-promote, as well.
I'm not usually much on foily type polishes, but Golden Glaze is really pretty. It's not over the top or blingy. Just really light and pretty! I used 2 coats for what's pictured. Super easy application. I believe this one is a re-promote.
Tinsel & Tidings is more of a glitter topper than a glitter polish, but I wore it on its own anyway haha I used 3 coats of thie clear base with blue, pink and gold glitters. I had no issues with using 3 coats, either. It wasn't thick or goopy, and it spread out pretty well.
Much like the polish above, Be Merry and Sparkle is medium on the glitter coverage with a clear base. Blue, silver and gold glitter are pretty well packed into this polish. I used 3 coats over bare nails. No issues with it being thick or clumpy, and I think it would go well over a deep blue.
Another re-promote, Silver Sculpture, is a clear base with all types and sizes of silver glitter. Again, I used 3 coats over my bare nails. This would look great over just about any color you could imagine - I would try it over reds or blues. I wore it previously over a deep dusty teal. This one is a re-promote, one of the newer polishes in the core line.
What do you guys think? Do you think you'll pick any of these up? They are already out in some stores! I'm hoping these will work for a lot of people! FingerPaints polishes are available for Sally's Beauty Supply.
