My son is getting to the age where skincare is becoming a reality. He'll be 13 next month, and his skin is starting to be on the verge of a breakout, so we're trying all different manner of things - wipes, soaps, etc. - to try to find what his skin likes... and we're hoping his skin doesn't turn out as finicky as mine. So when we were offered the chance to try out cleansing wipes from Game Face Grooming, we jumped at the chance!
The first thing I noticed when we opened the package was that the scent wasn't overpowering. It wasn't absent of scent, but the scent is almost pleasant. I think it's citrus-y; my husband said he thought it smelled like Skittles. My son said he didn't like the scent haha! The wipes themselves are soft to the touch. They are paraben free, hypoallergenic, 98% natural, 100% biodegradable, tested by a dermatologist and made in the USA!
My son used these for a week, andI hate to admit that his skin had a reaction on the sixth day. We're not sure if it was constant use of this product, or just a natural allergic reaction to something, but his skin got red patches. It may just be that my son can't use these wipes every day - he may need to incorporate them into a routine for skin care. We won't be giving them up, that's for sure. We intend to keep using them on a limited basis, mixing them with other cleansing means.
On the Game Face Grooming website, you can order these face wipes, and the other variations, for $7.99 per pack! You can also find them on the GNC site.
