Oh my, oh my. Have you ever bought something just because of the name. Yeah, I've done it before - and that was the case here too! I love the song Love Drunk by Boys Like Girls, so when I saw the name of this one, it was pretty much a lock that I would buy it haha It is a fantastic formula, and if I do say so myself, it looks great on me! It totally hugs my lips and has a vinyl-ish feel to it. I really really love this one. I bought mine at Ulta for $17.
I'm all about purples, so I thought I'd try Crank - which I thought was more purple haha Turns out it's a Barbie pink-ish color. "Mega Matte" isn't exactly how I'd describe it - more like the vinyl finish. Don't get me wrong - I'm a matte lover, but the slight velvety look of vinyl is a great finish too. My only complaint about this lipstick is that I wish it was more purple - however, I do see myself wearing this one a lot. Purchased at Ulta for $17.
I'm traditionally a huge fan of liquid lipsticks, so I figured this one would be my favorite - but I wasn't all that impressed. This color, Unbroken, is an Ulta exclusive. I guess I'm underestimated the color - I was hoping for more mauve or purple. This a deep brown that not only doesn't look right with my skintone, but it doesn't lay right on my lips. You can see some patchiness, and in the corner where my lips were sticking together. I'm not sure I'll wear this one often. Price was $9 because this line is on sale at Ulta (or it is right now).
So what do you think? I think Love Drunk is going to be a regular on my lips. I can't wait to go back to work so that I can wear it! It's been snowing and icing here, and when schools close, my office closes. We've been home since Thursday evening (it's Tuesday morning at the time of this post!).
