It's Zoya time! For fall, they have released two collections, Focus and Flair - and today I've got the gorgeous cremes from the Focus collection to show you today!
I'm a bad blogger. This is my first post this week, but I've felt worn down and really just blah about this blog. I needed a break. To be honest, I'm not even sure if my break is over. I do know I have lots of great things to show you, and next week, I will attempt to show them all to you! Today's post is a sunny polish, You're My Dandy Lion by Cult Nails. I purchased this polish back before they closed up shop *sniffle* I miss them.
Wow, I'm so behind with my ipsy bag! haha I have my August bag, too, but this is a post for my July bag. I wasn't too excited about this bag, but it does have some nice stuff in it.
Every week I will bring you nail art! Thursdays used to be Fail Art Thursday, but hopefully I'll have less "fail" here! I'm going to do this series (for as long as I can), with nail art inspired by books! The covers of books specifically. I hope to be able to do this EVERY week - and I'm going to try my hardest to make this a weekly feature - there are SO many books I can utilize :)
I may be the last blogger on earth to share this collection, but I have them nonetheless! My friend Lisa passed this beautiful neutral collection on to me, so of course I'm sharing it with you! Neutrals are always a nice palette cleanser for your nails, and these shades are definitely worth it.
I've decided to make this a new feature on my blog - I'm going to have my son choose several polishes and then I try to make some nifty nail art with whatever colors he choses. This time he chose FingerPaints You Can Crayon My Shoulder, Wet n Wild Black Creme and Ninja Polish Time, from the Infinity Gems collection. So what did I do?
As I've gotten older, I have realized that my skin will not take care of itself. I generally do not wear a lot of makeup, and I thought that meant that I really didn't need to do much with my skin. I've since learned that's not the case! So what's my daily beauty routine with skincare?
I was given the opportunity to try out the Influenster Sunshine VoxBox, and it's packed with excellent stuff! From snacks to nail polish, I enjoyed everything that came in the box! My only issue is that I don't live near any retailers that sell BarkThins, so I'm having trouble redeeming my coupon for a free bag.

Another new NYX lip product? You know I'm on it! I'm finally back in the blogging groove, and here's hoping I can keep up with all the blog stuff I've got in my head! I've messed with things a little around here (new header, darker colors and a rotating thingy in my sidebar), and I'm ready to go! So let's kick it into gear with these NYX High Voltage lipsticks in Rock Star and Hollywood, shall we?
SinfulColors has a new collection! The Back to School collection consists of 27 shades (some are repromotes), and it features a new demi matte finish! It's not quite matte, but it's definitely not glossy. It has a waxy look to me. I've got 10 of the shades to show you!
My friend Lisa is so amazing! She gave me this collection - the Nicole by OPI Coca-Cola collection for 2015. I've been a little MIA lately. I aggravated my sciatic nerve injury a few weeks ago, and my son started school yesterday. My posts have been sporatic, but that's about to change! With my son in school, and my not working (did I mention I quit my job a few months ago?), I'll be home every day, working on blog posts and, well, cleaning my house. haha
So my love for NYX lippies is pretty much a frenzy. I will buy any that I can get my hands on hahah When I found the new Intense Butter Gloss in a display there was no question I could pick up one - and in orange too!
Slavery is Wrong.
You know it. We know it. As a country, (the US) has officially known it since 1863. But here's something you might not know -- Slavery still exists. We want every man, woman and child to know that there are 27 million men, women and children, just like them, living in the shadows. In brothels. In factories. In Quarries. Working as slaves. In 161 countries. Including our own. We are here to shine a light on slavery. No more bondage. No more sex trafficking. No more child laborers. No more, starting now. - from End It Movement website
